Back at Home

The old post office on the left while the newly opened Plaza Merdeka on the right.

I'm back in my home town, Kuching, for about a week now where I spent the first few days down with flu due to the difference in weather between Australia and Malaysia. Been busy catching up with old friends and previous colleagues and as well as eating food that can't be found in Aussie. Need to keep up to date with the changes happening with the city. Several shopping malls are popping up here and there. A private hospital is expanding. Need to familiarise myself with new road changes. Some restaurants, cafes and food stalls moved to a different location while some went out of business.

The Indian mosque at India Street, a long time tourist spot, will be demolished and re-built a new one. Here's a news article about it. So I naturally pay a visit and took a few snaps of this historical place before it gets tear down.

Thanks for viewing.
